Series upward continuous casting machine is used to produce bright oxygen-free copper rod, copper tube, flat copper bar and other special profile copper continuously at long length. It can directly produce Ø8mm, Ø12.5mm, Ø17mm or other diameter of oxygen-free copper rod by copper cathode for various electrical uses, including feeding the Conform line for copper rectangular wire production.

Chinese upcasting machine uses combined furnaces for melting and holding the copper liquid. The capacity of each upcasting machine ranges from min 2000 tons to over 10000 tons annually. Its production process is flexible and economic with low maintenance cost. The quality of copper oxygen-free rod produced by Chinese upcasting machine is now well accepted by all major international players, including Siemens, ABB.
